Hawaii

Once we went to one of the Hawaiian Islands during our winter, we were sold on the idea of going again.  This time we headed off to see Honolulu for a few days and then get away from the freeways and big city atmosphere of that city by flying to Maui.

Arizona, New Mexico, and California

In March we headed off with Chuck and Terri to Phoenix Arizona and show our wives some of the great spots I had experienced before with Ken and Chuck.  Before moving on to Sedona and California, we dropped off Chuck and Terri at Phoenix to fly home as they didn't have as much time as Lynn and I did.

Painting and Photography in the Rockies

Since retirement, I have been going to the Rockies in the fall most years and 2015 was no exception.  I am not climbing anymore but my love of the mountains has not diminished.  This year Dave Dixon, Chuck McCafferty and I met up with my old climbing buddy Dennis Brown in Lake Louise.  Dennis is a skilled and talented oil painter and Dave has recently picked up painting so it was great to get together and spend some time together.

Netherlands, Belgium, and Paris

Lynn and I are in the fortunate position to be able to do quite a bit of travel and we decided to not waste that opportunity be revisiting Amsterdam again after being there on our honeymoon in 1975.  Yes, that is forty years ago!  We then wanted to visit Belgium and return to Paris where we had been on our 25th wedding anniversary.
